One of the main reasons that we set this page up was to post the conditions of the local trails, whether for running or skiing. Above all, it was to be a big resource for people to find the most upto date conditions for the Thuderbolt, so finally here it is. Early this morning a few of us decided to go and give it a rip and what we got was an unbelievable morning. The trudge up took some time, even with snowshoes and each of us swapping turns breaking trail. Once on top, we dropped in and didn't stop till we reached BellowsPipe. At BellowsPipe we all agreed to hike it one more time. Story aside, the Thunderbolt is in great shape with a solid 12 to 24 inches, depending on the drifting. Not one of us, on our combined six runs hit anything hidden under the snow. This week it will be a little tracked up, but with a great bootpack and awesome turns, you will be seeing us up there almost everyday. Maybe we'll see you out there.
