Bung hill and the Brew Works

With the great weather and having the option of going anywhere this weekend, it is no surprise that i find myself in my own backyard. When i awoke this morning i had huge plans to go to the Gunks or maybe to North Comway, with hopes of climbing some routes that have been in my mind for some time. Then the thought of a long ride set in and all ambition dried out. And while laying in bed I thought, why not go to one of the closer neglected crags. Shortly after a big breakfast, I found myself roping up at Bung hill. This was a good choice. I almost always forgot the fact that there are awesome routes, in our area within a stones throw from a road. So after having a good time cimbing a few good routes, it was perfect to stop by the local brewery, and have a few good pints with some close friends. I wish that I had more pictures to offer, but this is it. The picture itself might not be the greatest but the route Elephant Crack is well worth a try.
