As I sit listening to Beres Hammond (excellent reggae artist), I briefly forget that I have to run a 15 miler tomorrow. OK...now I'm back to reality. With race season approaching fast, one more long run, then its taper time for a beautiful half marathon with friends and my Dad in NH. Some first 1/2 marathoners and some veterans, but we've all worked hard to get there.

Running with Reggae

Well as quick as the ice climbing season has come and gone, it is now time to get back on the rock. Today was the begining of our rock climbing season and we decided to try a couple of routes down in Great Barrington. Its been a good couple of years since I have been to Reservoir Rocks because of the ongoing access issues, but by all of the cars there, it seems some of the issues might be somewhat better. With all of the boulders and a few quality rope routes, I can see myself climbing here more often. So put away the axes, dust off the shoes and rack, and go climbing. And if you find yourself climbing at Reservoir Rocks, I highly recommend climbing the route Endeavor to Persevere which is pictured here and possibly one of the best routes in the Berkshires.
